What does the heart saying about us?

My first experience with this beautiful ministry to serve the homeless in downtown Phoenix was very humbling!

I feel blessed to help in any way I can to help meet the desperate needs of so many. This ministry provides food, hydrating drinks, clothing. I believe if we all do our part we can make an impact on meeting the needs of this forgotten community.

Walk By Faith is more than just a ministry. It is a family, forever growing. This group has given me a sense of belonging and purpose. Being able to help those in need while enjoying God’s grace is all that I’ve been seeking and more.

The hikes are amazing and have helped with our prayer life. Helping the homeless was always a dream of ours but we had no outlet to do this until WBF (Walk by Faith) started this outreach. Words can’t describe how this makes us feel. God’s love has grown so much in us. The blessing of Jesus has been so wonderful in the WBF Ministry. Doing Gods’ work and praising him has grown our faith immensely. We are so humbled to be part of this amazing group. We love each every member of this group and they are like family to the both of us.

John and I were able to support the CASS outreach on 10/27/18. It was a blessing to see God’s people, touch and minister to those lives that have such great needs. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus speaks to encourage us to minister to those among us that are the “least of these”.

On Saturday night, we saw that happen. We saw a part of the Body of Christ, that was eager, excited, and truly blessed to minister to those that were without food, clothing, and shelter. We were able to provide food and clothing and help to comfort some of those needs, for a night. John and I have seen a great need within our community that was touched by the hands of the Body of Christ. It was a blessing to be a part of this outreach. What a wonderful group of people came out to the outreach; these members were compelled and on a Mission. It’s a blessing for the Body of Christ to be a part of this type of ministry.

I am writing this to let you know that this ministry Walk By Faith that God has set before us all is Truly a Blessing. I am not a regular attender or member at Dream City Church but I was invited by a friend that attends there. I first was invited to a hike that was a blessing to see everyone gather and helping one another up and not leaving one behind.

I was a bit nervous not knowing anyone but everyone was so welcoming. When we were at the top the testimonies that were given and just the love of God that was shown by everyone was unbelievable. It just reminded me walking up that mountain that walking with God can be tiring at times and hard but when we push through with community in Christ we can all make it. Then I also went to CASS WOW! I truly don’t have words to explain that experience. Everybody was so ready to serve with the food that was provided the daily needs for the people there. God broke my heart for his people there. As the community of this ministry just poured Gods Love to everyone there was a Blessing!! Everyone worked together to make sure everyone that wanted food got served and things like hygiene was also provided. As I was also serving God showed me that everyone deserves Gods love no matter where they are in their life. I made a lot of not so good Choices before I came to Christ and I seen myself there being lost needing a savior. God is Capable of saving everyone no matter where we are in life on the streets, on drugs or just not serving God. God has saved my life and serving His people was so rewarding and felt honored. This is just the beginning of this ministry and I know God will continue to move through the people in this ministry. He will bring healing, words of blessing and I know people will get saved through this ministry. There is more to come. In Jesus Name! God Bless You!

The outreach to the homeless at CASS was an exciting example & opportunity to walk in obedience to the scripture of leaving the 99 & going after the 1 as well as our Savior’s request to go into the highways and byways & compel men (all people) to come to Him. It was also overwhelming and heartbreaking to see God’s children in such dire situations.

Hopefully, we’ll have an opportunity to do this again soon and in the meantime to keep the homeless as well as ourselves in prayer, knowing that without God’s help, mercy, grace, intervention & deliverance. We would just be giving God’s precious children a hand out rather than a hand up. God bless the Walk By Faith ministry to do all that God has plans to do & go where God wants you.
Thank you again for the opportunity to serve & to be a blessing to my fellowman.

Outreach in Phoenix ⁃ walk by faith ministries So to begin this testimonial I have to address how God directed me to Walk by Faith ministries. I starts with my Fiancé and soon to be lovely wife, baking a pie for a friend.
Readmore
This friend was unable to meet with Jamaica (fiance) to receive the pie and decided to gift it to Apostle Robby who neither of us knew at the time. Apostle Robby gets the pie and loves and later asks Jamaica to bake a cake.
Robby picks up the cake and introduces himself to us on a greater scale. I begin to work with Robby on kingdom work as he also disciples me and later we prepare for IDOR 2! Jamaica and I get invited to Mesa Potters house church for service a Sunday or two before IDOR2.
Before this service know my walk with God has been a lot of studying, learning, and application of the word. I had gained and been blessed with lots of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.
So mesa potter house had a surprise sermon from a preacher they fellowship with from South Africa. In that sermon the pastor gave a wonderful word and I heard the Holy Spirit come over me and say “ its time to stop walking in knowledge and start walking in faith!” That was powerful for me because majority of my relationship with God was walking in knowledge and things I’ve learned but very little of my walk was actually rooted in faith! Fast forward IDOR2 and the first thing I noticed before Apostle Robby would give his IDOR 2 message was a small sign outside of the conference room we were blessed to have IDOR 2
at and on that sign said Walk by Faith ministries! 😅😭😱
The Holy Spirit got me in that moment! Not only was it a sign from the spirit and confirmation from the mess potter
house sermon but it was also a literal sign😂😂! I didn’t know what I was actually doing or what God had planned for me by meeting these wonderful people and being part of IDOR 2 but I knew I was in the right place at the right time with the right people! In my head I said I’m not sure where I’m going but whatever walk by faith ministries has to offer I’m going to take it as my sign from the spirit to be apart of it whole heartedly 💚!! Since then I’ve had amazing experiences with walk by faith ministries and of course have been
strengthening my faith in God every step of the way . Now that’s out of the way, we can discuss Walk by Faith Ministries’ outreach in Phoenix! It’s such a blessing to be able to help those in need! I am humbled, inspired, grateful, and balanced every outreach! ⁃ humbled by understanding that as humans we are never fully in control, some homeless people do not choose that life and circumstances have led them to that situation but there are many who believe and are covered by God! Be humble, knowing that a situation could happen to you or someone you dearly love. ⁃ grateful by appreciating I’m not homeless myself, or most of my loved ones are not in that situation. I’m also very grateful that God’s love still abounds and is very present amongst the homeless population. ⁃ inspired by Walk by Faith Ministries, that there are people in the ministry and others that aren’t who continue to sacrifice their time and resources to those in need and don’t give up
on the homeless, no matter their circumstance. Inspired to do more to help and to never give up fighting the good fight! ⁃ Balanced by becoming aware that situations in my life are never truly as bad as they seem, and I very well may be deserving of being homeless due to carelessness, selfishness, and other negative aspects I have encountered or exorcised. The balance also comes from serving others and not myself. Helping during outreach has its very own rewards that only by being in the spirit and being genuine will you truly receive and appreciate those rewards. Last but not least as Hebrews 13:2 states “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for some have entertained Angels unawares.!” ⁃ I truly believe that the watchers or angels dwell amongst the homeless and if I ever entertain and Angel I pray I’m respectful, kind, and loving, so when they report back to the father I’m in good company! Love you, Kaulana, looking forward to many more outreach outings and other Walk by faith activities! This is my testimony, I am now walking in faith!
